摘要:

语言是人脑智能最核心、最独特的认知功能模块。认识人脑如何编码、表征和理解语音是理解人脑语言功能的重要一环。本报告将介绍五项研究,分别使用了经颅磁刺激、经颅交流电刺激、多模态磁共振成像和头皮脑电技术,试图回答从单一听觉模态或跨视听模态,从建立单个音位(能区别意义的最小语音单位)范畴化表征、到跟踪和分析连续语音动态信息、到跨模态语义理解的脑环路基础和动态加工机制。

Abstract:

Language is the most unique and core function of the human brain. Understanding how speech is encoded, represented and comprehended in the brain is an important step for deciphering the language function. In this talk, I will introduce five experiments that used transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and electroencephalogram (EEG) techniques to investigate the brain circuits and neural mechanisms underlying unimodal and multimodal speech processing, from the categorical representation of individual phonemes to the tracking and parsing of continuous speech dynamics to amodal language comprehension.
